COGNOS planning software

Hi,

I want to practice COGNOS Planning 8 my self. I am working for a MNC and working as a COGNOS Administrator. I have text book from PACKT publishers, but I don't have the software. From where can I get the software to practice my self inorder to get the knowledge in depth.
Please advice.

Hi,

You need to have valid login ids to download the software from IBM site.

Do we need to pay for it or can we get freely...?

You need to have a support contract with IBM (Not free) and you need have a license for the software to be able to download it. If you have an IBM account manager I would contact them to see if you can have the software with say a 30 day license. I have done this with Applix in the past. I'm not 100% certain that you are still able to do this still,
