A client of ours (hi, Jarda) has been experiencing sporadic issues where the 'base' directory for a TI asciioutput command is changing from the tm1 server directory, writing instead to a user subdirectory (where private views and subsets are stored). It seems to come and go quite quickly.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Version is 9.0SP3 U9.

Re: Base directory for TI moving
Yes, I know I've seen it in 8.2.12. I can't recall exactly how it comes about (I've tried a few things on 9.0 tonight but haven't been able to reproduce it) but I know I've seen instances where the current directory from TM1's point of view is pointing to a user folder. I've never worried too much about tracing it down because we always use full paths for Asciioutputs anyway (which is never the data directory, since I don't want that cluttered up with muck), and have ExecuteCommand batch files called from a folder which has been added to the Path environment variable.David Usherwood wrote:A client of ours (hi, Jarda) has been experiencing sporadic issues where the 'base' directory for a TI asciioutput command is changing from the tm1 server directory, writing instead to a user subdirectory (where private views and subsets are stored).
