Unable to use AdvancedRulesEditor in TM1

Post by Northdoor »

Hi,
I recently install TM1 9.5.100 on Win XP - SP2. I also have the following:
.Net Framework 2.0 SP2,
.Net Framework 3.0 SP1,
.Net Framework 3.5 SP1,

I am trying to turn on AdvancedRulesEditor by taking the following steps:
I stopped the TM1 Server service;
set 'AdvancedRulesEditor=T' in tm1p.ini file;
turn on the TM1 Server service back on;

By doing about steps, I am not able to use Rules Editor completely. When I double click on Rule or select 'New Rule' nothing happen and editor not appearing at all.

Then I had to roll back my change and set 'AdvancedRulesEditor=F' in tm1p.ini file to use the standard rule editor.

Any solution, please

Many thanks
Kind Regards

You might still need to have .NET Framework 1.1 SP1

we upgraded to .Net Framework 3.5 SP1, for TM1 9.4 FP2 on WinXP and the advanced rules editor didn't work.

Went back to .Net Framework 2.0 SP1 and no issues.

Yes. .NET framework 3.5 SP1 is needed for TM1 9.5, while it is advised not to have it in previous versions.
