Re: document library
I think perhaps that something isn't quite getting through here.viswaraju wrote:where is the document library in this forum?
As Martin, not Ryan, Martin indicated, this is a privately run forum. It is not part of IBM or Cognos. It is for peer to peer user support. We don't have documentation to download. IBM does.
You've been pointed (twice now) to the FAQ thread. This one here ---->> http://forums.olapforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1332 <<------
Please click on that link after you have finished reading this message.
You will find that the thread contains a section headed IBM Support Links. In there you will find links to various IBM sites, including one under the heading Main Documentation.

Not if he hasn't installed 9.5 yet...kpk wrote:You will find it on your PC or on the server:viswaraju wrote:where is the document library in this forum?

(And in any case as you said previously it needs to be read in conjunction with the 9.4 one if he's going from 9.1, even though he has 9.4 in his profile.)

Yes, you are right, I supposed that no one start any migration without testing its functionality at least once on a PC regardless of the model.Alan Kirk wrote:Not if he hasn't installed 9.5 yet...

Installing TM1 without any special configuration is only 5 minutes (Next>Next>.... OK) and you have all the documentation and a demo model on your PC.
So if you have both install kits then with a little effort you can check all the necessary information. Without the packages is a different story of course.
