Hello,
according to the documentation Contributor is also for workflow. From your point of view, If I started to develop a new application with 9.5, should I totally give up workflow and use only the contributor?
Thanks a lot,
Toto

I am also bit confused on this clarity-
As I finished training and hands-on TM1 9.5 version.
I understand the TM1workflow works as admin consol like submitting the budget and plan data via workflow process and it also has access control for submitting, review and rejecting data.
I am not sure the scope of TM1 contributor - is it used only for deploying the model which is built in TM1 Explorer?
Please highlight the scope of TM1 Contributor
Regards,
Ravi

Ravi,
if contributor is able to deliver what you need I think it is wisest to use that one.
I.e. it seems to me that TM1 Workflow aka planning manager has been / will be replaced by contributor. I don't expect many more forward releases of planning manager, I do expect a lot of improvement to contributor further down the road.

No-Workflow is for sure needed for day to day interaction with budget owners-and it is essential for day to day activities.
My question- what for we use of TM1 Contributor ?
Help me understanding TM1 Contributor. Thanks
Regards,
Ravo

Workflow will be replaced by Contributor. Contributor has a web front-end (mix of TM1 Web & Cognos BI) for day-to-day management of budget submissions. Here you can create a workflow hierarchy, submit/approve/reject submissions, etc. All the things you need to manage a planning process.
