TM1 toolbar in Excel 2007

Hi all,

I work with TM1 9.4.1 FP2 and Excel 2007.
Sometimes (I don't know when and why), TM1 toolbar in Excel looses icon labels and only icons remain in the toolbar
As I used to work with Excel 2003 so far, I'm not very used to TM1 menu in Excel 2007. So when I have only the icons, I'm a little bit lost.
If I close Excel and re open it, the toolbar display is correct.

Do you know why and how to restore the toolbar without closing Excel?

I have actually seen a similar issue where the icons and labels disappear. The TM1 ribbon in Excel 2007 is completely blank. Restarting Excel has been the only solution that I've seen.

When this happens (TM1 ribbon loses descriptions and displays only icons) it is due to an error within tm1p.xla or tm1pRibbonX.xlam. When this happens it is likely that the buttons will not function correctly anyway so the best option is to restart Excel.

I have experienced this from time to time but not often enough that is is a real issue. If this is a frequent occurrence for you then log it as a defect with IBM.
