Hi,

We are facing an issue with security integration.
This is done using the proven practices document in IBM support. However, at one point (on page 9) , it fails to work.

1) Configuration is done properly
2) I can impot user fromCognos BI to TM1
3) The user is assigned as an Administrator in TM1
4) When IntegratedSecurityMode is set to 5, I get the cognos BI link, when TM1 url is executed.
5) When I login with the user name, it authenticates with LDAP
6) But , it gives an error that the user doesn't exist in TM1.

Is it because user is defined as [b]'LDAP\cogadmin'[/b] in TM1?

If you have a firewall, that's could be the issue.

Can I ask you a question, how come in my TM1 when I add groups it does immediate tag the correct user with its group although before I remember it happening before in another installation. Or its not a problem unless no memeber are assigned to that group?
