Hi all,
i wonder if you have named licensing for TM1, could 1 licensed user connect 2 times to the server legally (e.g. 1 Perspectives and 1 Cubeware Cockpit at the same time)?
Is there any document about the licensing aroud that i`ve missed?
Thanks in advance!
Markus

Re: Named Licenses - number of connects?
Yes this shouldn't be a problem. You can't exceed the number of named users purchased in total but any individual named user could have as many concurrent open sessions via whatever interface(s) took their fancy.
A named user could have sessions to the TM1 server open via Excel, TM1 web, EV, Cockpit, etc. and this would be OK as it is still just a single named user.
(It would be OK under concurrent licensing as well but if lots of users did this it might create some problems depending on the maximum available logins...)
