Is it possible to install just TM1 (Xcelerator) components from Cognos Express ? A standard Cognos Express installation included other components which we do not need to run TM1, and default security is using CAM.

I tried to look into the installation folder and managed to find some x32/x64 MSI but it doesn't run with an error saying GUI installation is not permitted. I guess the MSI is packaged to be invoked as a command line installation.

Anyone ?

Don't think so. But you can install the core stuff, then Excelerator, which is TM1, and not bother with Advisor(EV) and Reporter (Cognos BI). Also, you need 64 bit for a production install.

David is correct. You have to install the Administrator portal and then you will be able to install the TM1 Client on the user machines.
