Hi Guys,
I have had to reset the password on one of our DB user accounts that TM1 uses in the processes. However when I went to change this password in each of my TM1 processes, it is just hanging and never launches the edit window. It seems that when I click edit on the process, it must be trying to connect to the DB (with the incorrect password), but it causes TM1 to basically crash. So is there another way to edit the passwords? When I open the .pro file for the process, the password is encrypted, so I am not sure how I go about changing these passwords. This means that TM1 will not be able to run any of the chores until I can work this out.
By the way, TM1 top shows output as per the attachment when I try and open one these processes to edit.
Anyway help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks guys.

Damien, how long are you leaving it after it "freezes" before you decide to pull the plug? I've not used those connections but i do know TM1 takes ages to decide a network connection no longer exists, and while its looking it will also freeze. If you have a development server available how about making a copy of your production and then try just deleting the encrypted password. It might allow you to reset it afterwards then copy that file back on to the production area?
If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator.

Steve, you are a legend! Thats what I did and it worked well! I simply just created a new process with the new username and password and copied the encrypted password to the other processes and it works! Thankyou so much for the suggestion.
