Dynamic slice to Active forms

Hi
The company I work for are moving to TM1 9.4 from 9.0, we are after any tips on how to deal with the impacts of changing from Dynamic slices to Active Forms.

AFAIK IBM have not released any utility to convert old slice or dynamic slice reports to active forms and have no plans to do so. This is understandable as given the nuances of haw a report might actually be built in Excel it would be very difficult to produce a converter that would (reliably) handle converting anything other than a fairly "plain vanilla" slice, in which case there wouldn't be much point as it would be quicker to start from scratch for such a report anyway. So for the more complex reports where a conversion utility would be great it also leaves you with only the option to start from scratch. Frustrating I know, but in my experience active forms are much quicker and easier to build (and more reliable) than dynamic slices.
One thing I noticed is that your XL version is 2000. IBM no longer supports Office 2000 and certainly no longer tests new TM1 Perspectives releases for compatibility with XL 2000. This is not the same as saying it won't work, but if it doesn't the only assistance you will get from IBM is "upgrade your Excel version."
