TM1 Web Clipboard extension for Chrome no longer works.

So when I restarted Chrome this morning, I got this:
"'IBM Cognos TM1 Web Clipboard Extension' was turned off This extension is no longer supported. Chrome recommends that you remove it."
Why? Oh, you're going to love this: Yeah, a company like Google, which in my view is as ethical as a sewer rat doped up on meth and which will routinely pillage your information while paying lip service to the concept of "privacy", has actually spiked something for not publishing "privacy practices".
Cheezes, that's not even funny.
Although I want preeeetty much nothing to do with IBM and have no particular interest in speaking to them again this side of Armageddon, I thought I should raise a support ticket to see whether they were going to do anything about this. Notwithstanding that in my experience, we pay huge amounts of maintenance money each year for support... which I've never once received in any meaningful way. Even trying to find where to raise a ticket in the labyrinthine maledetto pasticcio that they pass off as a web site is worth an extra 20 points to one's blood pressure, but I shouldn't have worried; hey, I've found a link to raise a ticket!
So I log in, and... sure, that worked out about as well as you'd expect: And yes, the "Contact the help desk" link refers to... the same frapping page.
Also "not even funny".
Anyway... has anyone else raised this issue?
Edit: At least there is one thing... if you go into the Extensions list in Chrome you can force the thing to turn back on.
