I am using PAW 84, PASS 83, PAfE .83 and am on local.
1) I have followed the above instructions.
2) I have tested the MDX,
3) The URI I used is the same as that generated in a Quick Report - I assume that is the correct thing to do.
4) TM1 Server, Dimension and Hierarchy names are all good.
5) I created the named range tm2\\_tracked as per instructions.
But nothing happens when I double click. No errors, just nothing.
Also as a point of interest it would seem this function can only be used in one range on a worksheet (Though I assume multiple times in that range) given the named range has to be applied to it.
TM1SET function - Any trick getting it to work?

Hi John, iirc, my connection in PAfE used the URI to the PASS server rather than the TM1 server and HTTPPortNumber.
The PASS "pass-through" was the missing link.

John,
There was a defect once where if USESSL=F was in the config file, then it would fail. I believe 24Retail had USESSL=F set as shipped.
I'm not sure when (or if) that was corrected, but support told me about the defect in October 2022 around when TM1Set was first made available.

Though I had tested creating tm2\\_tracked as worksheet and workbook level it seemed I had ended up saving at workbook level. When I recreated at worksheet level it worked.
Apologies to all for wasting time.
