SSL V2 Expiry 25 August 2022

Hi
We are still running on 10.2.2 (don't ask...) and we are running with v2 ssl certificates. Can anyone please tell me whether the SSL expiration mentioned in this article also impacts 10.2.2? The article refers to PA but obviously 10.2 was pre PA however if we view our certificate it does have an expiry date of 25 August 2022 which obviously does suggest that it does.

Also any idea on how we download a new certificate??
Any help would be much appreciated

Hi,
- I could not find the certificates on IBM site
- I doubt that I can share with you the certificates from my PA installations due to Intellectual Property Rights and because of other security stuff
- I'm not sure PA certificates can be used in TM1 10.2.2
- 10.2.2 is no longer supported by IBM
Having all this, I would suggest you to install your custom certificates and stop being dependent on IBM here:

Aaaand I think it's the last in this thread and I will stop spamming
It looks like 10.2.2 is not affected. Try to switch the date to 26 AUG 2022 on you server and check if something fails.

Sorry but 10.2.2 is affected (ASK ME HOW I KNOW LOL). Follow these steps:
1- In Cognos Configuration in the TM1 Admin Server section, change Server Certificate Version from 2 to 1
2- In tm1s.cfg for all instances of TM1, remove the CertificateVersion=2 parameter
3- Restart Admin Server and all TM1 server instances
4- In Architect/Perspectives, update Certificate authority to point to the applixca.pem certificate file instead of the tm1ca_v2.pem.
