Connecting to Pastel Partner

TM1 Perspectives 9.4.1 FP2
Excel 2007

Has anyone ever tried to connect to Pastel via TI?

I am trying this because Pastel will be my data source for a TM1 application.

Googling around there are ODBC drivers for Pastel, so you should be able to connect that way. If not, get a flat file out and read that in.

I figured it out! Actually it is quite easy. Connect through ODBC to the relevant Pastel Data Source and there you go!

Create a sql query to extract the relevant data and you are good to go.

Tip: Use Excel to connect first and generate the query and just copy it in.
