SENIOR DATA ANALYST, SAS & Enterprise Minor

My clients are looking to recruit a Data Analyst with the following.

• Experience of statistical / econometric /
financial model development (e.g. Credit
Risk / Balanced Scorecards).
• Exposure to SAS programming, including
data extraction, manipulation and table
creation / reporting.
• Consultancy experience, either to
internal or external clients.
• Skilled in presenting and summarising
results to business, both verbally and
through written communications.
• Previous familiarity with deriving
business intelligence from large volumes
of daily transactional or sales data.
• Previous experience in an analyst role
within Marketing, Finance or a business
unit will be highly regarded.
• Experience in the use or design of a data
warehouse using a star-schema approach.
• Use of SAS Enterprise Miner or other datamining
tools.
• Web reporting using SAS or Microsoft
Reporting Services.
• Exposure to data cubes such as TM1.
• Analysis using Excel or Access with VBA.
Education/
Qualifications
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Economics,
econometrics, statistics, mathematics, or
a related business discipline with a focus
on economics.
Skills & Ability
• Conceptual thinker – an innovative and
tenacious problem solver.
• Exposure to statistical/ econometric /
financial models.
• Solid skills in SAS, Excel (VBA), SQL or
other relevant programming languages.
• Competent in written presentation using
MS Word / Powerpoint.
• Ability to manage self and others in the
delivery of multiple complex projects to
• Experience in SAS Enterprise Miner.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Exposure to data cubes such as TM1.
