Hello People,

I need some help regarding TM1 Web. I am using TM1 10.2.2 FP7. I have an input file created in excel and published on TM1 web. When user snapshot from TM1 web, it not only removes TM1 formulas but also excel formulas. Is there a way we can ensure that snapshot only removes TM1 formulas? Or what should be the alternative approach?

TM1 perspective is deadly slow on user machine (being on WAN). Hence we are not able to slice it and convert using MACRO or print.

The snapshot functionality is basically the same as range valuing a spreadsheet. It converts everything to values, not just TM1 formulas. There is no known workaround that I am aware of.

Hi dhims,

its not for TM1 Web directly, but you could use (or deploy) the TM1 Tools Excel Plugin (you can find it here in the Forum).

There is a Button which converts just TM1 formulas to Values.

So you could download the sheet with the TM1 formulas and press the macro button in the Add-Ins tab in Excel

Hi,

Note that the Print Reports feature in Perspectives will do this for you if you select the snapshot option in TM1 10.2.2.

I do realise you ideally want it in TM1Web but not possible in 10.2.2 or Planning Analytics.
