Hello

I have recently installed Planning Analytics Local (2.0.8) and also implemented SSL with custom certificates. Everything works just fine except one issue with Rights Editor on Performance modeler. Below is the error I receive everytime I try to open the Rights/ click on Configure Rights from an Application. However, able to Manage/Configure the Rights from web browser (TM1 Applications) but just not on Performance Modeler

ERROR : "The connection to hostname:9510 has been terminated unexpectedly. Some data may have been transferred"
Server A
- TM1 Admin Server
- TM1 Servers
- Architect
- Perspectives
- Performance Modeler
Server B
- Web Server
- Application Server

Also integrated with Cognos 11 for authentication (ISM=5)

I did check the C8ITK.log, it says (SOAP message details) something to do with the authentication

Any suggestions will be appreciated

Samba,

We are also experiencing this issue with Planning Analytics Local (2.0.9). IBM does have an open APAR.

Samba,

IBM provided me something to try that worked in our environment.

Simply add the following line to the PerformanceModeler.ini file and restart the application tier.

-DFORCE_RIGHTS_SWT_BROWSER=true

IBM was clear to be careful with the whitespace in the .ini file or else PM won't start.

I made a copy of the file before I attempted this in case I needed to revert back.

Open the PerformanceModeler.ini file, copy the syntax -DFORCE_RIGHTS_SWT_BROWSER=true, place the cursor at the end of the last line in the file, hit return, paste in the syntax, save the file, and restart the application tier.

The PerformanceModeler.ini file can be found in the TM1 install directory under perfmodeler\bins\bin_10.3.1.2552. (The bin_ directory may vary depending on the version).

Hope this helps.
