I am trying to create a new client in TM1 and whenever I select "Create Client" I get an error stateing "Error in CAM Passport". I have eliminated all the CAM Passport references in my config file. Anybody ever seen this before?

Hi,

I've never seen CAM passport before. What version are you using (might be worth updating your profile) and is your system set up to use integrated log in or just vanilla TM1 stuff?

Cheers,

Client is using 9.4.1 and we are using single sign on. I was running into an error on the web that was basically saying it did not recognize my log on.

Did you restart the the TM1 service after eliminating the CAM stuff from the tm1s.cfg file?

CAM passport is Cognos related security.

What security are you using to connect to TM1?

In your TM1s.cfg file what is the following parameter set to : IntegratedSecurityMode=4. 4 is the new setting to use the Cognos CAM Security.

Try setting the security to IntegratedSecurityMode=1 and see if this solves the problem.

IntegratedSecurityMode is set to 2. I have also restarted the TM1 server multiple times with no luck.

Could it be that there are client side settings in your tm1p.ini file (f.i. AllowImportCAMClients) that are causing trouble?
