IBM Cognos gateway unable to connect to BI server

Hello,
All of a sudden I got this message when trying to log in. I don't have admin privilege and I couldn't reach the TM1 guy at work on a Saturday... all I care for now is this question - will I lose any work I've done once the server gets back on? I tried to read a few threads online but I really have no clue how this can be fixed or what exactly I did that caused this...
