Hello Gurus,
I have a problem when writing Cognos reports against TM1 and hope somebody can assist in this regard.
We have say a "Revenue by Location" report. The Location has rollups.
When there is a reorganization in our company they move locations around.
This breaks my Cognos reports.
I have researched this issue and found out that this is because of the way these locations are pulled into the report.
Please see attached.
When I pull the column into the report, it brings the parent level also into it in the MUN definition.
How do I prevent the parent from appearing in the Location column (other than having to modify the XML file manually)
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: TM1 hierarchy and Report problem
You could use the dimensional functions in CA like children or descendants and reference the consolidation instead of individual members. You could even pass the consolidation as a report parameter to make one report dynamic and negate need to maintain multiple reports with static lists of locations.

Re: TM1 hierarchy and Report problem
Thank you for your response.
I pick the consolidations wherever possible, but some reports are such that I need to pick some elements from multiple consolidations.
I don't want to create another subset in the dimension to fix this.
But my basic question is that when I created the report originally the MUN was @MEMBERS-100 (Without the consolidation)
Now when I go to modify this report the MUN changes to @MEMBERS-BREAKBULK TERMINALS-100.
