TM1 Package connector stopped working

Hello all,

I am having a major issue with the TM1 package connector in a rather old configuration of TM1 10.2.2 FP3 and BI 10.2.1.
Framework Manager is used as well as the package connector. Mainly the source of the data is SAP BW:
- using the package connector to directly connect to SAPBW
- using BI as a means to dump report outputs as csv files and picked up by TM1

The user with which we connect in BI and packages to SAPBW, had to be changed. So in the BI data source connections, I updated the username and password. However, as of then, the package connector refuses to work. The error message is:

qe-def-0368 unable to decrypt username and password from the content store

In BI, the dumps still work. It's only the package connecter that refuses to work. Variables cannot be retrieved in the TI process.

I did investigate, a.o.:
- restart TM1, BI, ...
- copied back configuration settings (from Program Files and Program Files (x86)) and restart services
- saving the Cognos Configuration settings, and

Does anyone have an idea about it ? What can I do to solve it ? I find several google hits but none seems to help.

Case solved through IBM technotes. Problem was the wrong Cognos Configuration instance was manipulated.
At the customer, there is a Cognos Configuration for BI, for TM1, for Framework Manager, and for the Package Connector.
We had the wrong one instances earlier.
