Hi guys.

We currently have four levels in our hierarchy which is the following:
1. Cluster
2. Department
3. Branch
4. Business Unit

Cluster is our highest level, and Business Unit is our lowest level.

Our charts are created on the highest level(Cluster) whereby the user who is viewing the Cluster can drill down to the level below.

What we require is the user who is at a specific level, must view the same chart at his/her level.

So, the problem which we are faced with is the user who is at the Department level (second highest level), cannot view the data on the chart, but a user who is on the Cluster level can view his/her cluster.

Any suggestions what we are doing wrong?

It sounds like TM1 is doing exactly what you've told it to do, not show data for levels users don't have access to. If you set the chart to start off at the Cluster level then any users that don't have access to that level are not going to be able to see anything in the chart. I don't know anything about your chart or the tool you used to create it (PAW vs Web Sheet) so it's impossible to give any recommendations of how to modify your setup.

IMO Tomok hasn't explained enough to get you to address the issue.
You probably have security set up on the dimension holding your various hierarchy levels. This link should help.

In summary, TM1 objects (Cubes/Dimensions/Dimension Elements/Cube Cells etc) are secured by assigning access of Read/Write/None to groups, and users will be assigned to one or more groups. I suggest you run up Architect or Perspectives as admin, turn Control Cubes on, and look (probably) for a cube called something like }ElementSecurity_<your dimension> . You can update access directly, via TI, or use rules. With the latter you probably need to Refresh Security if you change something. Best to have a non admin user you can use for testing.
