Hi Everyone,

I would like to install the CA 11.0.13. Is there any step by step
installation guide for this version or later.

To be fair the IBM install instructions can be patchy at best. Not all I might add, but some for sure. Which is why some people create their own. So asking isn't a crap idea. I don't have instructions for this install which is why (as most of us have) I ignored the post. If the question was "The IBM install instructions aren't very good, does anybody else have a better set?" would you still have been as negative? But to be fair that's a bit loaded as I'm making presumption. But then so are you, one easily made based on the question though.

Actually, no. It would indicate that the poster had made at least some attempt to find it on his own. If you look back at his posting history he asks a lot of questions that indicate he has done little research on his own. I had a boss way back in the day who always sat the new hires down and politely told them, "do not EVER ask me a work question unless 1) you already know the answer or 2) you can show me you exhausted all your options trying to figure it out for yourself". Best advice I've ever been given.

You may be a bit out of luck there my friend. This is a volunteer community, that's here to help, but also to offer opinions. As with any development there can be more than one way to skin the cat. Opinions can be helpful as you get multiple perspectives on a task. Granted some opinions can be a little more blunt than others (not mentioning any names) but that for me is the small price you pay for joining the community and getting some of the best free opinions and answers for TM1 that there is.

If you simply want an answer, call the IBM help desk. They get paid to provide you with answer, even if it is "read the documentation"

Hi Kavitha,

I would like to request a fully documented install document for PAW and PAX - screenshots and explanations included. Take TM1 server too, as well as docker stuff. Windows and Unix please where applicable.

Oh, I'm in a hurry, please add a full-blown documentation on the TM1 REST API as well. Thanks a lot !

Use the wizard.

He must be a wizard to get it working on a mac!!
