Hi All,
Can we add a new element to measure dimension without data loss in cube. Since the cube is dependent to many other cubes via rules.

Yes of course, provided you aren't inserting the new element as a child of an already existing zero level element.

Adding a member cannot result in data losses except if you change an N-level element to a C-level element by inserting the new member as a child of an existing n-level element.
The opposite, removing a member, will most probably lead to a loss of data, or rules/TI processes not performing the way they are set up to perform.

To be clear for those who would have doubts, this holds true for all dimensions, not only 'measures' dimensions.
