hi,
does 494 views create a problem? [156public, 338private]
i don't know if it's a coincidence, but when i'm logged in as me(most number of private views)

- i noticed a server crash after logout.
i've since created a different username and so far so good...
many thanks

The official response from IBM is that the only limit is the max amount files in a folder on the file system.
That being said we have hit similar issues (under 9.1 SP2, I have not tested under 9.4) when I created a large amount of subsets. We tried to to speed up a process for the users by creating a subset for each of our projects rather than having the users have to hit an action button to get this done. In the end it was around 2,000 and the server became noticeably unstable. IBM did not feel it was the problem, but I can tell you that once I got it down to a smaller number of subsets the server ran without any hiccups. We tried this twice under 2 differnt Service Packs with the same results. I dont know if it is our design or if there is some "limit" to where TM1 becomes unstable but I have noticed similar issues only with subsets.

Thanks for your views
If that was the case, i imagine other contributing factors could be that when i ran process monitor, server mem was at 1.3Gb and it total is 2Gb (don't have the extra 1Gb switch put in by i.t. yet).
largest dimension worksheet has 36,000 lines of elements and hierarchies with many subsets. some cubes are overfed with intercube feeders that span more than 2 cubes. for now, i'm blaming the model design. i'm going to be needing some re-modelling and memory boost.
