What a better way to celebrate my 500th post than via documenting an RFE which will never be done....
It would be very handy to have a DimensionDeleteAllHierarchy command available in TI to be used when rebuilding a dimension, e.g. from a file. This can be done via the DimensionDeleteAllElments but this is risky since if there is an issue with the recreation process data loss can result. It can also be done by traversing the hierarchy manually but this is a tedious process and one likely only attempted by expert TI coders.

Re: RFE 106604: DimensionDeleteAllHierarchy
good idea but I don't think the name of the function can be "DeleteAllHierarchy" as "Hierarchy" has a very specific meaning now as of TM1 v11
Please place all requests for help in a public thread. I will not answer PMs requesting assistance.
