Hi Everyone,

I am using a dynamic subset and when I select an element Advanced Subset Editor in TM1 web, it works properly.

But when I select an Alias, I am getting the following error and the dynamic subset is changing into a static one,

"This dynamic subset has been modified.
A static copy of the subset will be used."

Could any one please advise if you come across of this error. Is it an expected one from TM1 and can't be resolved?

Expected behaviour as toggling an alias on/off makes a changes to the contents of the subset which would be saved to the .SUB file. Principal elements are obviously still the same. Remember that any TI's referencing a subset's elements use the values returned i.e. Principal vs Alias as saved unless altered via the TI.

Also noted one more issue with this context.

When the dynamic subset is changed into static subset, the normal form filter rendering is not happening any more based on other selections.

For example, while selecting the X filter, the Y element results which are part of the dynamic subset are shown or rendered automatically. But when the subset has been changed into a static one after selecting an alias, this rendering is not happening any more. Hence the form has to be opened again and X filter has to be chosen.

Do you think of any work around for this rendering issue? Please advise.
