Error while accessing Cognos BI- custom query as Datasource in TM1 TI

Hi TM1 masters,

Greetings! I would like to explain the error which I am getting while running the TI process.

Scenario:- We are using "Cognos BI- custom query" as datasource in TI process. When I try to open/edit TI process, it prompts for "Data source connection and signon" where I notice that there are 4 connections in the dropdown. When I select one connection, I am able to select cognos report- successful preview, variables are successfully fetched from report but when I run the process- It throws an error "Error: Data procedure line (0): CCognosPackage::BuildDataSource Exception: (TR0102) The process or action was cancelled at your request.
- QE-DEF-0283 The connection is ambiguous."

Actually, I am not sure how to track the root cause as this process was created by some other developer who is not in the system now. I found an IBm technote on this but I am not able to find the main point "http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg1PM14505"

Please guide me where to look or any hint.

When you are prompted in Architect, the values you supply are used "client-side" and are not persisted with the process.

You need to edit the Connection & Signon information that is saved as part of the process in order to define the connection you want used when TM1 executes the query.

Thanks for your reply Dr.nybble. Can you please guide how and where we can edit this connection and signon. Actually, never used custom query as datasource. Please help!
