If a TM1 user is running a TI process in Perspectives and, during that process, Excel crashes, what happens and what is the best protocol to follow. Is the TI cancelled, or is it partially executed? Do you assume it is cancelled and run that process again?

It continues running as the process is executed on the server; the Action Button just sent a request to the server to run it and then later receives a response - if excel dies in the middle the server is unaware.
This is easily checked by log files, TM1 Top, Ops Console etc.
