Hello,

You can't add or delete dimensions from cubes, not even for views. You can move dimensions to and from the title, column and row section of a view.

You can edit subsets of a dimension, here is a link that helps you get started http://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecen ... 07?lang=en

Hi Talsam
This question is about pretty basic functionality. Your other posts I have seen essentially asked:
- design and build me a headcount planning cube.
- write me the rules for currency translation

There are some very experienced TM1 experts on the forum who are happy to spend their time resolving queries and helping others develop their skills. However, they quite reasonably expect people asking the questions to have a basic level of knowledge and to have tried to solve the problems themselves before asking for help.

You say are new to TM1, in that case I strongly recommend you ask your employer to send you on a training course or, if they are not prepared to do that, then at least work through the manuals, Rules guide and maybe the "..TM1 Official Guide" http://tinyurl.com/z6u29sw.

I am sure that, if you post any specific questions that are not easily answered by these sources, you will get helpful answers on this forum.

Best of luck

Cubes cannot be edited in that way. The only way to "switch" dimensions in a cube is actually destroying the actual cube and re-creating it. There are some TI's out there that can help you move data from the original cube to a new one having the dimensions you need, but in case of the views, it is not possible since they are slices of the same cube.

To be honest, I think you need a little more training (no offence intended), since that question actually shows that you haven't even read the manuals which is a problem if you are going to do some TM1 development.
