Dear All,

I have a sales planning cube in TM1 and has got a requirement to create a dashboard in Cognos where the targets for sales figures has to appear from the TM1 cubes rolling forecast.

The TM1 cube has got 8 dimensions and one dimension related to scenario. Now the issue is,

All the dimension and its elements are appearing in report studio apart from rolling forecast element in Scenario dimension. Later I found it under system roll ups.

The scenario dimension has 5 elements with snapshots but the report studio is only detecting the "Actuals" elements and its values from the dimension and not the rolling forecast. The dimension has not got any hierarchy set up since it is scenario. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Biju

Yes,You can use TM1 cube as source and transfer the cube to FM as a package and then use the package in BI.Also below links should provide further detail info:

Hi,

Would be useful to see the scenario dimension structure in Architect and in BI, say in report studio or workspace advanced

any security applied?

I did checked the security and there is nothing applied. Now, the user connection between the FM and TM1 has been given Admin privileges but no chance.

Hi Biju

I don't know why Report Studio is behaving as it is but if it wants a hierarchy I suggest you give it one.

Add an All Scenarios consolidation and link all elements to this, using a Weight of 0 on all elements apart from Actuals so anyone looking at All Scenarios will just see the value for Actuals.

Then check again to see if this resolves the problem.
