I would warn people off this release for the time being. Main server is fine but the FP5 upgrade breaks TM1 Web. This is consistent across 3 test environments I tried this morning. It looks to be a pretty basic and fundamental error in the installer in that the old content of \webapps\tm1web is removed but the new files aren't written!

Yes that worked. Had just figured that out when I saw your post. Seems a pretty fundamental error of both the installer and IBM's quality control.

Maybe it's just me but isn't it a bit pointless to release a Fix Pack for which you are unable to list what it fixes? But at least the above admission is more forthcoming than the broken link that was in its place last week.

Are they suggesting that there are "Unknown" issues being addressed as well?

It's possible to read it that way; "While we have no reason to suspect that the TM1 Web server is vulnerable to attack by Martian vampires, the web config file has been reinforced with additional protection features."

But the other way of reading it of course is that there are known issues that aren't "addressed in this release", and it deals only with the subset of ones that are.

Sorry to ruin all the fun speculating and pondering possible fixes.
Fixes are now listed here with the previous FPs.
