Hi I am new to TM1 and struggling a little.
I have a budget cube which has sales and margin. It has the last two years data by product by week and I want users to input their suggested budget. To make it easier for them I want to get them to input at the total year level and have a data spread break back by week based on prior year. They then go in and adjust the phasing rather than having to build it all up by week in the first place. This was simple for Sales but when it comes to margin I want them to input the % rather than the cash, I have a rule to create the cash. The percents are adding up in the consolidations rather than being a division of the total cash. I can solve this with a rule but that means it isn't possible to put a percent in at total level because you can't input into a rule controlled cell. Is there anyway to get around this?

Re: Data spreading a percentage
Can't you just create a new line "Margin % Input" for the users to enter data against and then use this to drive the calculation of costs and so on?
