Hello all,
I would like to customize the look of TM1, i.e. text on top of application list (default is "IBM Cognos TM1 Applications"), logo in top right corner (currently IBM) etc.
Is there any way how to do this?

Nothing comes to my mind. Just curious, why do you want to change this?

There may be a way to customise some of it by editing the flat files that are in the same directory within the exe's.
I better add.....I in no way recommend this.
I can understand why you wish to change things that are cosmetic, but in all honesty it most likely isn't worth it.

Could you give an example? I can't find out where we can edit them.

For TM1 Web this can be achieved quite easily but changing the various files ( css , png ) etc that contain the splash page.
Against the recommendation of IBM (although no official technote that I am aware of ) and our team one of our clients wanted something really cool and was aware of the risks and went ahead with it but I must admit it did really look cool.
I am not sure how you will change the look of Server Explorer though.

Well, for example, you could go into the bin folder inside the TM1 install directory, run a search in the files explorer, such as "*.jpg" and view the files as icons, then select an image you want to edit. Just don't change the name of the file.
Again, I do not recommend this and IBM will not support any changes you make.

Did you ever try and customise the look of TM1 at all? I am interested to hear about any results.

Not sure this will be soon. The OP was active on the forum 1 minute after posting, since then not anymore for 10 days. Does this mean he/she does not want to see replies ?

I advised that he should go into the bin folder and edit the image files, I would also like to know if he tried anything
