HTML URL portlet using TM1 URL API goes blank on resize

The HTML URL Portlet using TM1 URL API goes blank on resize.
As the TM1 Websheet Viewer portlet functionality has been deprecated in 10.2, we have replaced the previous Websheet Portlet with an HTML URL portlet using the TM1 URL API. On the initial load, the websheet comes in fine. However, when we resize Window, the portlet goes blank and had to refresh the page for it to load again.
This issue exists only in IE; windows resize works fine in Chrome and Firefox. Version of IE used is IE 11.
Resize issue only happens when using a TM1 URL API address inside an HTML Viewer Portlet in Cognos BI. Displaying the URL in TM1 Web seems to work fine even when resizing is done.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
