Always Expanded Workflow Approval Hierarchy?

Hi,
I have users that are annoyed with the fact that they always have to expand the workflow nodes to get to where they are to work. The approval subset is expanded, but this doesn't seem to matter. Is there anyone that has a trick for having this always be fully expanded? We are on TM1 10.2.2 if that helps anyone.

As far as I know, we cannot force the approval hierarchy to be shown expanded by default.
