TM1 Client Version VS Server Version

Hi guys,
could someone tell me if it is possible to use a Server Version newer than TM1 Client Version? (i.e. Server 10.2.2 Version with TM1 Client 9.5.2 Version).
Addictionly, if using a Server Version newer than TM1 Client Version is not possible, could you provide me some examples of hot fixes to do it?

Rule of thumb is generally older clients will talk to newer servers - does not mean everything will work as intended and there may be unforeseen issues. Obviously new features will not be available in older clients. For the most part 9.5.2 FP3 client talking to 10.2.2 server seems stable in my experience - other users may have examples where it does not work as hoped, that they can share.

Is the viceversa situation (i.e. Server version older than TM1 Client version) possible?

Generally new client will not work with older server as newer client may have some features that the older server cannot interpret whereas an older client will have all its functionality supported by a new server (backward compatible, assuming nothing has been broken in newer versions).

If you manage to connect through a newer client, may be lucky and you may get unexpected results - I would not recommend it - rather try to pair the correct versions of both server and client.
