[CAFE 10.2] 2 user friendly requirements

Hi,

We combine TM1 and CAFE for a sales planning tool.

1. Is there something in CAFE like a progress bar which can tell users if the refresh/commit is finished ?
2. Once TM1 connected, is it possible to simply tell user which admin host is used in an understandable language ? (Ex. 53.90.132.45 means nothing to user while Sales Planning Production/UAT is much better)

Thanks

Regards

Custom indicator:
1. delete some value in flex
2. when this cell populated with number - refresh completed.

It is very useful with a lot of flex sheets and bad data channel.

This is simply a matter for the application owner and the local responsible IT to sort out to define an alias for the server so that internally for example salesplanning-uat.mycompany.int resolves to 53.90.132.45

In most larger companies there is a (hopefully) simple IT portal request process to setup such an alias, usually with a relatively quick turn around.

Thanks silw for your reply
When user waits for the refresh, leaving a cell blank, but how can she know if the refresh is failed or ongoing if the cell is not populated ?

User still needs to click Option button in the TM1 ribbon to know on which server she is...
