Anyone having any feel what % of Applix users us the Web application versus spreadsheet? We have serious performance issues when using Web application versus spreadsheet. Thank You.

a What version are you on? TM1 Web for version 8 was notoriously poor.
b Think the addin will always be quicker
c TM1 Web fits where the users are outside finance and/or are using crafted layouts as opposed to interactive drill and pivot.

We are currently 100% web for a few reasons
1) Current application involved alot of disinterested users who just wanted to input what they had to that is it. We are starting to get some power users doing advanced analysis.
2) Speed - Performance over the WAN was not good (This is probably my companies setup). They have implemented a lot of web compression techniques and appliances that make web our best option.
3) Updates - We are very distributed and coordinating updates to all the end users would have been a decent sized effort that no one wanted to undertake.
In the end both have their uses, it really comes down to what your company is looking for. Our current model was fine without VBA so web was the best choice for us. There are pros and cons to each based on your specifics.
