Hi,
I am trying to back out certain transactions using the transaction log and there were no changes. I can retrieve the transactions using the transaction log and select them but can't back out.

Nothing happens when I click the back out button

Sounds like you've fallen into the two step trap. Simply highlighting the rows doesn't select them. You have to select them from one of the menus (Edit => Select or [Ctrl]+[T]), THEN use Back out. You'll know that the rows are selected when they have tick marks to the left of them. Until you see those, they aren't and you can't back them out.
