Can not connet TM1 Web to Admin Host

Post by gdimit »

I have installed TM1 ( all components in one server) and TM1 Web in another.

When I open the link of TM1 Web I can not connect to the admin host and no servers are in dropdwon list.

Does anyone know what I have to check or change in order the TM1 Web to work?

did you try to type in the ADMIN Host Server name in the TM1Web login page?
If this works, then in order to populate your drop down automatically, you need to add your admin host in tm1web_config.xml file

Theoretically speaking the port 5495 and 5498 are open.

How can I check which ports are open and which ports the TM1 uses?

In case you have admin access to the server box, did you try using the IE on the server (assuming you run it under Win)?
You may stop the Windows Firewall service on the box for a few seconds to see if that enables your access. The 2 default ports 5xxx being blocked would cause Perspectives to fail as well.
