Running Chores using right click locks up the user

Hi, I'm new to TM1 and have been assigned the initial testing of our 10.2.2 TM1 version. I thought the multi-threading would help with all aspects of running chores but am finding if I run a chore using the run command on right click I can't do anything else until the chore completes. Is this normal TM1 10.2 .2 behavior?

It is. But if you set the chore to a time in the very near future it will run without tying up the UI.
