Automating Cognos Security Management

Hi all,

In TM1, we can manage groups, users, rights etc. via TI processes. In certain cases, it provides significant advantage in terms of time and faultlessness when compared to manage it manually.

I am wondering if a similar functionality can be achieved in Cognos Security where you can create roles, make assignments to those roles etc automatically? I assume Cognos SDK may be an option to achieve this. I would like to hear about successful practices or other comments about using the SDK as well as other options if there are any.
