TM1Web 10.2 Subset Editor "Basic" View

I don't have high hopes for a resolution to this but thought I'd throw it out there.
We're getting ready to move a large population (700+) TM1Web users from 10.1 to 10.2.2. These users make heavy use of customized subsets which they change between frequently.
In 10.1 and prior, users were able to quickly select a subset from the "basic" subset editor view:
In 10.2, they no longer have this option and instead have to go into "advanced" mode to be able to select a subset:
I've found advanced mode is slower to load and challenging for many users to appropriately utilize.
Has anyone come across a config parameter to enable subset selection in 10.2 from the base editor mode?
