Win 7 ultimate
Excel 2013
TM1 9.0 SP2
Getting the following error when launching TM1 Perspectives:
System Error &H80040111 (-2147221231)
and TM1 do not loading and work
I tried the following steps , I couldn't find files that have a .EXD extension and still getting the same error
Try the following suggestions;
1. From Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder and delete the files that have a .EXD extension:
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Forms\

Then I tried the following steps , still getting the same error
3.) Unregister OCX file

Regsvr32.exe /u C:\Windows\SysWow64\MSCOMCTL.OCX
4.) Rename the OCX file
C:\Windows\SysWow64\MSCOMCTL.OCX to
C:\Windows\SysWow64\MSCOMCTL.bak
4.) Copy a new MSCOMCTL.OCX file from another computer to the Windows\syswow64 directory.
5.) Register the new OCX file
Regsvr32.exe C:\Windows\SysWow64\MSCOMCTL.OCX

try check the filesize/version of your MSCOMCTL.OCX - I have had this issue with older versions.
My current working version shows the following in the command prompt: Unregister, replace with new and re-register. You may need to find an older version for TM1 9.0
You could also try re-registering tm1prc.dll, tm1xl.ocx and tm1dasrv.dll

Also, not sure that TM1 9.0 and Excel 2013 will actually work together.

I solved this issue by repair office 2013 ,custom installation and install vba
the TM1 now working
