Impossible to create a New Cube View in TM1Web 10.2.2.1

Hi All,
I installed 3 different servers with TM1 10.2.2 + Fix Pack1.

In all my installations I don't find the "new view.." functionality in TM1Web navigation panel to run the View Builder Wizard to create a new view.
I'm using both TM1 servers with Tm1 security or Cognos BI security and I'm connecting using users belong the Admin group.

All my Tm1 servers was migrated from 10.1.1 where I had no problem

Any suggestion?

The "New View" option doesn't exist any more as IBM deemed it to be a redundant feature (which is something I would agree with as most users tend to just skip through that page to get straight to the drag and drop cubeviewer.)
Now you just double click on the cube in question and it will open a cube viewer that you sort the way you want and then save if you wish to do so.

Hello Declan.

I was misled by the Tm1 10.2.2.1 documentation where a chapter related to "Create a New Cube View" still exists with the old functionality.

Historically the documentation for TM1 has always been full of errors and inconsistencies; the most recent problem is quite a significant number of references to 10.1 and prior functionality that no longer exists. The majority of the web based changes can be found in the TM1 Web 10.2 FAQ technote (annoying that you have to cross reference documentations though.)

The cube view note is in http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.w ... wg27039576 under "What are the known differences with the new web product"; I'd say its certainly worth a scan over this if you intend to convert any models which use TM1 web from an older version to 10.2+
