Hi

Could you please let me know if upgrades the OS version from 2003 r2 to 2008r2 is it required to change anything from the application level.

Current Cognos TM1 version is 9.5.2

Nope, should just work.

The upgrade shouldn't interfere with your models but with IBM discontinuing support of 9.5 versions in less than a year it could be worth using the opportunity to look at upgrading your TM1 version as well.
