Filter by wildcard issue

Post by BariAbdul »

Hi Gurus,I have strange situation as I have a large subset and I am trying to filter required element by Filter by Wildcard
option but due to some reason as soon as I select filter by wildcard and put expression *Product* the subset elements disappears and subset get blank.I have also tried %Product% and %*Product*% with no success. In past I have used it with no issues. Thanks

As long as you are hitting the all button before searching you should be good. If you don't, it will search on the subset there, so if a product is not in that subset you'll get nothing.

What Jim Said. If you just open the dimension with the Subset Editor then you get the default subset. If that subset doesn't have any elements that match your search criteria, even though you know there are some in the dimension, then you must click on the All icon BEFORE you do any filtering.
