excel workbook corruption in snapshotting in 10.2

Hi guys,

Just wondering if any of you are experiencing the same thing as I'm finding.
I've installed a 10.2 server in a Dev environment and then pulled across a copy of our live environment and am testing it out in 10.2 in the web. All's working well but I find I'm sometimes getting this error when I snapshot from the web. Exactly the same model running in 10.1 doesn't have this problem when snapshotting to excel from the web.

Any thoughts on how to deal with it if it keeps happening?
Environment:
Server 2008 R2 (patched up to the latest windows update)
Excel 2010 with latest service packs
Cognos TM1 10.2.20100.123

Thanks.

Older versions of TM1 Web could give you this error if the web server had 2 different versions of excel installed. Obviously that shouldn't be the case now due to it not needing excel to run the web.
Do you have 2 versions of excel installed on your PC that you are snapshotting to?

Hi Declan,

No I don't. the server that I used to snapshot to is a new Dev server running excel 2010 (no previous version of excel).
The exact same workbook snapshots OK in 10.1 in the web (standalone separate Dev server) but it won't snapshot in 10.2
Thanks for the tip though.
